The concept of happily ever after

वो अफ़साना जिसे अंजाम तक पहुँचाना न हो मुमकिन उसे एक ख़ूबसूरत मोड़ दे कर छोड़ देना चाहिए  (A tale you can't finish, should be left with a beautiful divergence)

We are all insanely in love with movies; we all love to watch movies, especially when it comes to a romantic one. Aren't we? And we all must have been through a beautiful line at the end of the movie (not every, but most) ''and they lived happily ever after''. This typical ending line has made happily ever after seem easily winnable. Is this beautiful line as beautiful as it sounds? Were you too caged by this beauteous line? I don't know about others, but love stories always fascinate me a lot. It seems to me like I am dreaming with open eyes.

The concept of happily ever after

This world is wholly perplexed and sometimes beyond my understanding. You meet someone when you don't feel like meeting anyone and when you try to be with someone, you end up being alone. We all want to be happy, we all want to live a happily ever afterlife, but we don't understand what happiness really is? Do we? Happiness is the balance of both the good times and the bad. In any relationship, you'll go through tough times no matter what, no matter how hard you try not to. It's not a choice, it will always be beyond your control, but the happily ever after is a choice you can make. If you'll ever find your concept of happily ever after, recognise that and never let that go at any cost.

The concept of happily ever after

Here's my concept of happily ever after, will try to make you all understand with the help of three phases of love

We all encounter three phases of love in our lifetime

  • The first phase of love

This love happens at a very young age, we meet someone, stays for a while and then get apart over silly things. Then you grow up and get older; you look back, think and laugh on yourself by saying, it wasn't love, but the truth is, it was. It was love for what you knew love to be.

  • The second phase of love

This love is a hard one. This love teaches you something and makes you stronger than anything else in this world. This love includes immense pain, lies, betrayal, abuse, drama and damage. On the contrary, this is the one where we grow. We realise what we love about love and what we don't love about love. We understand the difference between good and bad humans and become closed, careful, cautious and considerate. We know what we exactly want and don't want after this love.

  • The third phase of love

This one comes when you least expect it to, this one comes blindly with no warning. It just creeps on you silently. You don't go looking for this love. It just happens to you. The best thing is you just can't put any wall to escape it. You'll find yourself caring about that person without even trying. You start seeing the beauty in their imperfections. You hide nothing with them. You want marriage and family with them. You thank the universe for them afterwards, and you genuinely love them.

The concept of happily ever after

One day, you'll go through the third phase of love to be with the one human being made for you, and then you'll realise why none of the relationships worked. You'll understand why you went through heartache after heartache. You'll surely thank all the pain, all the sorrows because it now has brought so much happiness in your life.

Not every, but some love stories do end with the beautiful line ', And they lived happily ever after.'
