Some talk to you in their free time and some free their time to talk to you, but what about those who don’t talk to you even in their free time?
There were days, when they used to talk to each other and suddenly everything changed, now I take deep breathes, think about you, close my eyes tightly and try to sleep at night but end up looking at the dark ceilings which remind me of the darkness in my heart.
He always made sure that you feel good. Do you remember the words he wrote to you and for you? Do you remember any of those? Have you ever re-read them? I bet you never did. Once (not once, many times actually) he said ‘I love you’ but you never responded. I hope when you look up at the sky, all the stars remind you of him and the words he wrote for you with so much love. Maybe, someday you realize how valuable he was.
Someday, you may realize that he truly cared for you, loved you and only you. You were the only one he used to talk. He always tried not to give up on her howbeit she never cared, then he cried and cried until there were no tears left in his eyes not because he is weak but because he loved her. Why did you do that?
No matter how hard and how much you pushed him away, he always came back to you. Not because of any reasons which you thought then but for the reasons which you probably think of today.
Do you remember all the words he wrote and the things that he has done for you? I hope you remember. To be very honest, there was only one problem he had with him and that is he only loved you more. More and more by each passing moment in life. He never asked you for anything. You always heard him saying ‘I have you and that’s enough for me’ or you might not as you didn’t have time for all these bullshits in your life.
He was always there for you, all the time so you don’t forget how much you mean to him. But sadly, one day you forgot. Many things! The little things that he did for you with broad smiles. He waited for you to talk when you were busy but you chose to remain busy for him instead of making one phone call.
Many times he went to sleep with swollen eyes just by thinking of you. No, you were not avoiding him or said ‘I hate you’ but there was something missing which he knew because he could sense it. You wanted to escape, and you did! One day you said nothing, you just lost all the interest all of a sudden or maybe slowly. Maybe! Yes; maybe he had hurt you a little with his words or by avoiding you for an hour. But you know, right? He cared!
You never wanted him, never ever that too he knew but he got
some hope when you addressed him as Landon Carter while thanking over a call
for a birthday gift. He never expected to fall in love with you but eventually, he did and this is the gift he
received, the gift he had been longing for quite some time.
I wanted to text
you, call you and wanted to talk to you. But I connected all the dots in my
mind and realized that it’s too late to do so.
